Jen
Having Jen on the team for nearly a decade has significantly contributed to the development of her skills and confidence, exceeding even her own expectations. Her passion for her role is evident, particularly in her specialized areas of stone setting and hand engraving - fields that demand a high degree of attention to detail. Her level of talent in these fields is second to none.
Jen’s academic foundation in Jewellery and Silversmithing was solidified with a degree from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009. Before joining the team in 2014, when it was just myself and Brad, Jen honed her skills in luxury retail and visual merchandising, experiences that enhanced his keen eye for design and presentation.
Jens role allows her to fully embrace her creative side, utilizing both traditional hand drawing techniques and contemporary computer-aided design (CAD) skills. Jen has been integral in the design and creation of many of the company’s stock collections, as well as numerous bespoke designs for clients.
Jen particularly thrives in the bespoke area of the business, relishing the opportunity to engage with clients through the entire process—from the initial consultation and design phase, through to wax modeling, stone sourcing, and the final crafting, setting, and finishing of the pieces. This comprehensive involvement not only ensures the high quality of the final product but also provides her with immense job satisfaction when presenting the completed item to a client. Her dedication and expertise are indispensable to the team and contribute significantly to the business’s success.
